Vevox Systems Ltd is a green-tech start-up business based in the UK. Its core business is in the development and implementation of a mass-market solution for an electric vehicle recharging system.

We are aiming to develop a system that, firstly, understands driver behaviour and attitudes and, secondly, can be readily integrated into the lifestyles of its users. We believe that understanding the link between behaviour and driving patterns is fundamental to securing widespread take-up of electric cars.

Our vision is to create a universal charging platform that can be accessed by all motorists, under the widest possible range of conditions without compromising safety and convenience.

Developed to address the needs of electric motoring infrastructure, the Vevox System primarily addresses the central resistance issue which is that of convenience. In addition, and by design, the system has become virtually fail-proof and tamper-free. It is also a low-cost installation and, due to the limited number of mechanical components, maintenance-free. Sustainability will be key to our business ethos and, as such, it is anticipated that the majority of electricity can be provided through on-site micro-generated, renewable means.

The system is designed to be easily fitted to conventional car parks, streets and a wide variety of other public and private locations. It is a system that can deliver benefits for commercial property landlords, tenants or owners through additional utilisation of under-capitalised parking zones. We believe this provides a risk-free opportunity for a range of locations to become central nodes as part of a revolutionary networked infrastructure for electric vehicles.
